Growing up in Italy, I gained my diploma from the Milan School of Translation and Interpreting. I also hold a degree from the IULM Faculty of Modern Languages in Milan. Since then, I have continued to hone my linguistic skills via various further education courses in England and Germany.
In Italy, I worked in a secondary school as a teacher of German. In 1991, in Switzerland, I then decided to become self-employed and have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter ever since.
Paying careful attention to my clients' requirements, accurately reproducing the content, and adapting each translation to the target audience are the qualities that define and distinguish my translation and interpreting work. I take special care to identify nuanced regional linguistic differences, which I address and accurately convey in my translations.
